Sir,
Please I am modeling a local bridge of a single span of 15m. Can I use leapbridge Concrete or RMbridge to model, analyse and design this bridge using a Precast reinforced concrete rectangular beam/girder section without any sort of prestressing. If yes how?
Thank you.

While modeling the bridge in LBC using ABC wizard please select "Post Tensioned CIP box" and then select "T beam" and then you can design Reinforced concrete girder sections.
Then go to CIP RC/PT girder option and then click on HELP and then Tutorials .
In the Tutorials please follow the procedure of the first example .
A million thanks. I will have to go through the said tutorials. From your explanations I can already see a head way. But T beams are monolitically connected with the top slabs..I was looking for a system were the rectangular beams/girders will be precast without prestressing and the deck cast in place ... like the precast/Prestress I girder bridge. But I will follow your instructions and hope it works. Many thanks again sir.
Good afternoon from my end. I have gone through the tutorials as you asked me to. Its quite informating and have given me the experience I will largely work with...but it works better with cast in place structures. Can I select Precast/Prestress type from the ABC wizard but ignore to define the Tendons like on the tutorial you referred me to or can the dummy tendon do the trick and make me design the precast beam for only Rebars and stirrups.
Please help me out.
Thanks.
For Precast and Prestress type , I have not tired it personally by adding a dummy cable and designing the precast beam with rebar.
Generally I suggest the user to use Post Tensioned module for this type of cases.
You can give a try and let me know if it works for you.
Okay. I Will have to try it out. If it works fine. I will keep you informed.
Thank you again.
