Hello,
I'm a business analyst working with an engineering contractor firm in Canada. Our engineers currently use Bentley's CONSYS tool to model bridges and analyse loads. My research shows CONSYS has been discontinued, and replaced with LEAP. Few questions:
1. One of our major concern are AASHTO specifications, included in Bentley products in comparison with CHBDC used here in Canada. Would the engineering policies and regulations (AASHTO LFRD, single lane standard etc.) affect bridge analysis results?
2. Can any Bentley tool be re-configured to conform with CHBDC specifications? If yes, Which?
Thank you.
Canadian code "CHBDC" has been already implemented in Leap Bridge Concrete.
