When using the "Generate Default Load Combination" feature, the load combinations generated are using different factors, like :
- 1.4 for WS for STR GP 3,
- 0.4 for STR GP 5,
- and 0.3 for SER GP 1.
LRFD 8 specifies 1.0 factor for all WS regardless of Load Combination Limit State:
Why is this not the case in the auto-generated loads in LEAP Bridge?
I am using Version 18.01.00.16, pictures below to show default generation.
I would suggest you to upgrade to the latest version.
Is this a known issue in V18?
I just tested in V18.01.00.16 and the program is multiplying with load factor 1.0 for WS load case.
Is there a way to change the Default Comb factors to force the generation with factors of 1.0 for Wind? Not sure why I am having this issue if you are not having the same issue in the same version.
