Some state DOTs require x/box beams without CIP concrete deck to be post-tensioned, as illustrated by the image below. The post-tensioned check box in LEAP Bridge Concrete becomes inactive when X-Beam/Box Beam is selected as the beam type. How do I get this to work? am I missing some steps?
The other solution is to model a single rectangular beam in CIP RC/PT Girder module and then to make modification to the cross section of the beam using PARTS option to look like X beam and then design it as POST TENSION BEAM.
T beam can modeled as RECTANGULAR BEAM
Thanks for the reply. I was talking of transverse post-tensioning though. I still need to design the beams as prestress with transverse post-tensioned tendons.
Unfortunately the Post tensioned option is NOT available for X Beam type of girders . I apologize for the inconvenience.
I shall forward this concern to the product development team so that this issue can addressed in the future release.
PT option is available for other type of box girders.

Thanks you for the clarification
Overloading, corrosion, and material aging deteriorate the structural performance of prestressed concrete (PC) bridges. Strengthening techniques are needed to improve the serviceability and extend the life of these deteriorating bridges gophone login. This study examined a strengthening technique with double-layer prestressed steel wire ropes (PSWRs) to enhance the serviceability.
