Hello,
I am new to LEAP Steel and was wondering if it has the ability to perform LFR (load factor rating) as opposed to the modern LRFR rating. I am not seeing any options within the program to change this and I have not seen any old posts out there explaining this. If the program is able to where would the option be located?
Thanks
If you'd like to amplify the idea submission I made, in the ideas portal you can search for my submission ID "BCI-I-988" and it should come up. I believe there's a way to add comments with the fact you need this for more than just NY.
Also if you're logged in to the ideas portal I believe this link should work: LFD Load Rating in LEAP Steel | OpenBridge Ideas Portal (aha.io)
I totally understand but the new procedure is that the user has to create enhancement request on IDEAS portal and there is option for the users to vote the enhancement request which they feel is very important and needs to be implemented at the earliest.
Based on number of Votes the development team implements the enhancement request.
I would encourage more and more users to vote for this enhancement request.
We do load ratings for quite a few states and they all require LFR ratings unless they were originally designed with LRFR. And then they require both. So adding LFR rating capability would be a big improvement for the rating section of this program.
In that case the product development team will look into the enhancements based on Priority and will add the feature.
I do believe I have done that already.
