I have seen a lot of people waste time when modeling decks by using a default template (i.e. Slab w/ Constraints), and just modifying the variable constraints for each deck placed. That can be pretty time consuming if you have many separate decks modeled. It is much quicker to just create a library template to suite your needs (modify variables) and just use that same template for each deck you model.
