How to match deck crown to top of cap (abutment or bent) slope?

Question

Is there a way to match the bridge deck crown slope to the cap? I selected the following option when placing the abutment or cap: 
 
 But the cap will still show leveled and not sloped.

Hi Daniel, 
 If you want to make the cap of the pier to have a form of inverted V as the deck, this is not possible with normal pier templates. The cap is always straight but if your deck has a rotation angle or different slopes, the cap will adapt to the elevations of the bottom left/right deck elevations thus resulting in an inclined cap. 
 You can achieve what you are seeking with Functional Components as presented here .

Hi Daniel, 
 You can model break back using the modify solid option from the MS tools inside OBM. 
 Please read this document prior to do the modifications. 
 Properties of User Modified Solids - LARS | LEAP | OpenBridge | RM Wiki - LARS | LEAP | OpenBridge | RM - Bentley Communities 
 These modifications should be done in the last stage of design i.e. after everything was modeled correctly, you will modify the deck solid. If you do a solid modification and then you add/modify something in the model that will trigger an update of the bridge geometry, your solid will reset to the initial form created by OBM thus losing the solid modification.

You can use Functional Components for complex models or modify the solids created by the OBM normal templates.
