Backwall Vertical Offset Error

Question

I am modeling my abutment backwall to have the same vertical offset as my backwall depth as pictured below: 
 
 And the template cross-section shows up correctly: 
 
 Though, when I place my abutment it appears different on the model as shown below: 
 
 This is the case for the all the bridges I have modeled thus far. Is this a program error? If so, how can it be fixed?

Modification to the cross section properties of the bridge can be done by clicking on the properties or explorer.
