When I use the "Isolate" options from the OpenBridge Modeler, Bridges > Units > "Bean Layout" or basically any bridge Units i.e. Wingwalls, Supports etc. they do not display. It appears they isolated units is there in the view if you make a selection set it will highlight but is is invisible. If you clear the Display set the bridge displays properly again but the "Isolate" for bridge model units is not working. I have checked graphic group settings/toggle not effect, display properties i.e. wireframe vs rendered but it simple is invisible in the view. I actually get the same exact effect when using the MicroStation "Display Set" tool from the right click menus or from the View Tools ribbon.
Hi Mike,
Most (if not all) objects created in OBM are composed of sub-components, i.e. a pier is composed of cap, columns, footings and piles. Each individual component is created on its own level (OBM_Footing for example). In order to make available the selection of the entire object (pier) and not an individual component (footing) the objects are "tied" together with a wrapper level (OBM_Piers in case of the piers), When you are selecting the pier, you are basically selecting the wrapper thus the Display Set will isolate that level, but this level does not contain any solid because all components are created on their own levels and this is why you do not see any solid there.
So, the correct workflow is to turn off the wrapper level and then make your selection that will be isolated.
