Hello,
I'm looking for an info on how to construct beam layout with curved and flared steel girders in Open Bridge Modeler but I did not find any. Is this issue covered anywhere?
Thank you.
Hana

Hi Vinay,
Thank you for responding. The video you are referring to, models curved parallel beams. It does mention that "you can define specific path of the beam", but doesn't show how. I think I've figured it out already.
Now I need to model a beam layout of the bridge which splits into 2 ramps. Any suggestion where to find a video or an info on that particular issue?
i shall try to look for this information.
Thank for the patience.

Hana,
You could toggle OFF "Same Beam Start/End Values and enter desired spacing at start and end
Or you could use Aux Alignment option. The beam centerlines need to be placed as Civil elements (they cannot be plain MicroStation lines).
The Aux Alignment option is an optional way to set the beams to a civil element. You can draw civil alignments for each beam layout, then click on Add to Add the alignments to the Aux Alignments collection. Then when defining the beams you can set the spacing reference to Aux Alignment and set the appropriate aux alignment.
