When exporting to LEAP Concrete from OBM using the Open Bridge Designer application, this occurs for me:
The bridge is flat with no curvature, just a 45* skew. The bearing elevations for the one girder line shoot up drastically into the air and all elevations are tied to my alignment other than my footing elevations. As seen from the first picture, it looks like it just removed the right exterior beam for each span. Has anyone seen this error or found a fix for it? All of our versions are up to date according to the Connect Client.
Thanks,
Nathan
Hi Nathan,
Have you looked at the tutorials for OBM and OBD from the bellow link?
Find Training (bentley.com)
I ended up just adding a beam and removing one beam through beam layout. Retyped the beam lengths and the middle one disappeared... Went to beam groups then hit beam definition and it brought in the wrong beam in the same place. Reassigned the beam and material and now the model works. Just started with this program this week, and it's very buggy with beams and bearing lines just randomly disappearing. Now the concrete model is correct at least, but haven't tried finishing the design and sending the reinforcement back to OBM.
Nathan,
I had this same issue yesterday. I ultimately just deleted all of my beams and then placed them again and it seems to be okay now, but I don't know what caused the issue in the first place.
