Hello,
Is RM Bridge capable of conduct plate buckling analysis? see picture.
If so, could you please share any example or demonstration showing how to perform the analysis?
I found the following regarding Euler buckling load for column but buckling analysis considering buckling of plate element is totally different to say the least.

Thank you,
Marcelo
Currently, RM Bridge does not have the capability to perform full FEM plate buckling analysis with the consideration of detailed web and stiffeners. At the present time what we do is a process with greater simplifications. LBS - LEAP Bridge Steel has some additional auto checks, but also not full FEM.
In the future, this feature will be added to OpenBridge Designer, but we apologize for the inconvenience as we don't have yet a schedule for this implementation.
