Below is a drawing of a beam layout that has transfer girders circled in blue. Is the latest version of OBM able to model these transfer girders? This is one unit of my bridge that uses continuous beams over these 5 support lines.
Please file a service request and include the dataset to be investigated.

So is the answer "no", that OBM cannot model transfer girders?
Transfer girders can be modeled as cross-members between longitudinal main girders.

Thank you Ana! I'll give that a try!
Hi Ana. I am having some trouble trying to add the transfer girder using the "Place Cross Frame" tool. OpenBridge automatically sets up the "Bays" that each of the cross frames go into. In my case I have beams 18-19-20.
Beam 19 is the shorter (longitudinal) beam that needs the transfer girder. The transfer girder connects 18 to 20 and beam 19 terminates at the transfer girder. There does not appear to be a way to connect beams 18 to 20 because there is no bay created for Beam18-Beam20 in the program. Is there a way to create my own bays? Or is there a different way to accomplish this? thanks so much!
Hi Dennis, you can email me your file for further investigations: anacarla.peres@bentley.com
Hi Ana,
I wish so badly that I could share my file but the client will not allow me to share any files from this job. I could lose my job if I did.
Is there a way that I could set stiffeners on the sides of beams 18 and 20 and then connect the stiffeners with a cross-frame somehow? Maybe if all else fails I will just draw it manually with solids.
