When inputting a Wearing surface it appears Leap bridge steel incorrectly adds the load in the wrong direction as it is producing positive moments in a 3 span 64-80-64 over the bents. I ran the model with the definition of 2 in wearing surface and also adding 2 in to the slab. see moment results for Girder 2 below.
Same model with 8 in slab and 2 in wearing surface
And wearing surface only
The wearing surface is producing a positive moment over piers.
Please download the latest version and let me know if you are still facing this issue.
Vinay, I downloaded these versions
But am still getting the same error that FWS is producing positive moments over the piers and negative in midspans.
I did discover the following: See the Enclosed. Let me know if you cannot open it. Thanks,
DOCXPDF
Note: All members and load combinations need to be verified that the load is in the correct direction. It appear that the FWS auto generation applies the FWS in the wrong Z direction.
Thank you for the information.I shall test it and will get back to you.
