I am running a model and have stirrups that run from the column base 0.0000' to the top of the column 28.1233'. However, despite this I still receive an error in the design status report stating that the provided area of shear reinforcing is 0.00 in^2/ft. It's column has sufficient strength, but for some reason the program is not recognizing the presence of the stirrups at the top.
Is there any way to get rid of this error?
