I have been trying all day to assign superelevation transitions to my deck and it just dosnt seem to work at all. My deck is skewed. Does superelevation not work on a skewed deck?
Thanks so much,
Dennis
Also, my deck does not have parallel edges due to a ramp entering my bridge. I get this message when I assign my superelevation to my deck:
My superelevation lanes do not match my deck because of the curved ramp entering my deck.
I was hoping to use a horizontal point control to control the horizontal edge of my deck and then add a superelevation to control the lane slopes.
You should be able to apply Superelevation in OBM. Even if superelevation lanes don't match the curved ramp, you should be able to apply roadway superelevation. Click on Yes on the above dialog to continue and apply. Please see YouTube channel video on applying superelevation: Rapidly Model Design Intent - Roadway Superelevation - YouTube
I ended up giving up and just did it with a vertical point control. my superelevation actually transitions on my bridge with 100' parabolic transitions. I think it doesn't like that my bridge is skewed.
