The bridge I'm working on consists of a 3 span bridge with 2 units, a simple span followed by a 2 span continuous. The bridge was modeled using the BIM workflow. Once the model was complete I used the "Send to Leap Bridge Steel" button for the simple span. I was able to analyze and design that span with no issue.
I then went back to the model and set the second unit active and then clicked the "Send to Leap Bridge Steel" button. It said the data transfer was successful, but it did not import the girders. The only thing that was brought in was the deck and barriers. A few coworkers have had this happen to them when working with multiple units.
Has anyone had similar problems and can offer a solution?
Thanks,
Michael
May be it was an issue with the older version , first thing i would suggest you to install the latest version and try to send the second unit to LBS and see if it works.
If you are still facing the issue then please create a service request and the technical support person will help you.

Vinay,
I tried the new version as well as using the standalone. It still didn't bring in the girders.
I do think I know what might be causing the issue. So both bearing lines for Bent 1, upstation and downstation are in the Simple Span Unit and in the 2 span continuous unit there isn't any bearing line for bent 1. But from what I have tried so far, I can't model the downstation bearings in the single span unit and the upstation bearings in the 2 span unit. It seems that once you place bearings on a support line, you can't place bearings on the same support line in a different unit.
Have you seen this issue before?
Thanks!
