Plan Only - Bridge Construction Layout.dgnlibTest 7.dgnSurveyDeliver2DExport-2DTopoFile.dgn
Hello- I have been working on creating a workflow for our Bridge group and would appreciate any help with my troubleshooting.
I am using a Microstation 2D seed file referencing Civil Survey and placing a Civil Baseline.
I am using OpenBridge 8.2 Update 8 to create the file but have the same issue with OpenRoads 2020 R2.
I created a DGNLIB which has a Named Boundary - Civil Plan for the lower portion of the sheet and I placed a Detail Drawing Boundary in the Top portion of the sheet.
I can start a new DGN, Place Named Boundary - Civil Plan and select the Bridge DGNLIB I created and it will create the Sheet and place that named boundary in the bottom.
The trick is getting the Detail portion to work properly. I am currently testing things outside of ProjectWise using a local workspace. As soon as I'm able to, I will be testing inside ProjectWise.
When I select Place Named Boundary from Drawing Boundary, it does show my Drawing Boundary in the list and I select it.
When it gets to the Create Drawing Dialog, the only choices are the ones from:
"C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBridge Modeler CONNECT Edition\OpenBridgeModeler\Default\Dgnlib\DrawComp\en\DrawingSeed.dgnlib"
I found that if I comment out the MS_DGNLIBLIST in the msdirs.cfg, these options go away.
Alternatively, I can use Detail_2d_English_SheetOnly and it will place it in my upper boundary but I do not get a drawing model.
If I use anything else, it places that boundary way outside of the sheet and or crashes the program.
We need to be able to create a drawing model as well as append the existing sheet for the 2nd Named Boundary.
Here is a video of the issue I'm running into:

I have attached my DGNLIB as well as one of my test files and the Civil Survey file.
Thanks in advance!
