With very old version of RM2006(9.xx.xx) we could create and use loadcase file (*.lc, ex camber.lc) using LcInit module, which was stored in project root directory, thus it could be utilized in other schedule variant like *.sup file.
It was very usefu to share loadcase results among various schedule variants, especially to get fabrication shape of bridge element that is took as input of LsCamb, where calculation of camber and staged analysis using 'Erection Control module'(for example) are carried out in different schedule variants.
However, in the recent version of RM(V11) it seems that the *.lc file is no longer valid. It returns error message. (still can create *.lc file by LcInit command but cannot read the file in other schedule variant.)
Any changes in this concept?
Hi Kyoung,
You should be able to use *.lc load cases in schedule variants. No modifications in RM related with this feature.
If you desire, you can send me *tcl file for further investigations: anacarla.peres@bentley.com
