Export superstructure loads from Leap Bridge Steel to substructure design/analysis?

How to export superstructure loads from Leap Bridge Steel to substructure design/analysis? it appears none of my loads (DL, LL, DW, TU) have come in from  the superstructure.  I see the option to import from text file.  is there something I need to do in the superstructure module to export my loads to the substructure?

  • I am attempting to import RSA-1 loads from my Leap Steel Design.  I have highlighted the loading and selected RSA-1 in the Substructure Design/ Analysis form, however, when the loads are generated into the Bent  Design if you click edit on RSA-1 to see the loads there are no loads shown.

    I tested this issue in current release version V22.00.04.34 and i agree with your findings.

    1) I added the RSA-1 EQ load case to the Final Default Extreme Event I load combination.

    2) Ran the Grillage/ FEM analysis and then clicked on Substructure Design/Analysis option.

    3) For Support 2 added the RSA 1 load case under EQ - earthquake effect and clicked on Design/Analysis 

    4) The program imported the DL and LL but did not import the EQ load case.

    1) I further tested this issue in the current development version where the issue is fixed.

    2) I added the RSA-1 EQ load case to the Final Default Extreme Event I load combination.

    3) Ran the Grillage/ FEM analysis and then clicked on Substructure Design/Analysis option.

    4) For Support 2 added the RSA 1 load case under EQ - earthquake effect and clicked on Design/Analysis 

    5) The program did imported the EQ load case.

    6) Once the new version is released please download and install the program.
