Currently, when trying to import girder reaction (bearing loads) specifically for Live load. The user needs to upload one Text file at the time. This is very time consuming and requires a lot of attention to avoid any mistake while selecting the files. very prone for error, etc. Please see video attached where I demonstrate the tedious/repetitive action that I have to take to update different live load cases (different truck position) ...
Also, for some reason, LEAP does not use the currently working folder as the default. For every click at File Import, I have to find the working folder in order to import the data. This adds to inefficiency besides being very annoying.
Perhaps, Bentley developers could update the importing schema so that user can upload 1 files with multiple load cases.
here is an idea below ... add some sort of a pointer (for example a symbol "#") in which would tell the software that is reading a load case until the next "#" pointer if found. The software would automatically read the next line and create a new load case ... EXAMPLE BELOW:
