While analyzing and designing a continuous structure, there is an option for negative moment continuity steel. As outlined in the Tutorial PDF T1A-5 (pg. 47), we input the continuity steel but when looking at the strand patter design status, there is no change to the service III stresses at the precast top at bearing, transfer zone, and at h/2. Is that steel being considered at all? is it only for rating purposes? additionally, it does not show in the elevation diagram of the beam.
