The workflow in OBM requires you to work in 3D. Basically select the alignment (reference file typically), specify the supportline stations, and define deck between the support lines. The aux alignments need to be Civil Horizontal elements, so you could simply trace over existing line work in the reference file. Please reach out to support and they could guide you through the process.
Thanks Sri. I have another question: do you know if we could draw the framing plan in 2D and somehow reference it or cut and paste it into the OBD Modeling? Then from there link it to the 3D part of the model. Thanks again for your help.
Sam, Using Auxiliary alignments for the beam layouts you can specify kinked beam layout. Once you have the beams defined, you can select to use the beam path on the deck elevation reports. Seems to work on a simple case I just tried.
