The cross section is a rectangle. Its height is associated with a variable H.
I created a table htab1, the shape of it is like this
I created 2 segments:
Segment1 use link segment, and its vartiable H was associated with htab1;
Segment2 use regular segment, and its vartiable H was associated with htab1 too.
The resulting model of Segment1 has steped shape, which is wrong
while the resulting model of Segment2 has smoothed shape, which is correct
The TCL is attached: 4863.gp9.zip
Hi netsonic,
In Segment 1 with link elements try to use 0.0, 0.5, 1.0 for the x-axis.

Hi Ana,
Where can I input "0.0, 0.5, 1.0 for the x-axis", I tried to input them in htab1, but it doesn't work
BTW: The TCL is attached in the top thread
Hi, It should be necessary to divide the link element too, as link elements can assign only cross-sections at the connections, begin and end of the element.
I can look at your file, but I need to create one service for answering you, Can you send me your email address please to anacarla.peres@bentley.com. Thank you.

Thank you, unfortunately it couldn't been found in the list.
Hi Ann
Any progress on this issue?
I tested the TCL in the 1st post with 2022 R2 and I got the same result as before.
It looks like the issue hasn't been fixed.
It seems to be approved for RM 2023 R2.
