How to add an DGN file to my BIM/Standalone project?

Hello, I'm still unfamiliar to the Bentley environment. I have an DGN bridge file that I thought It was lost and I would like to open It like the usual, after opening OBM. How can I add this DGN file to my project?

Thanks.

  • In OBD click on the BIM or Standalone Project and you can add a new *.dgn file.

For more information about OBD please look at the below links:

  • I think Diego wants to add an existing DGN file (not a new one). I can't see an option to do that.

  • 1. Open OBD

    2. Under Standalone workflow, create a new project folder

    3. Start OBM and open the desired file under the correct workspace

    4. Close OBM. The file will be added to the project folder.

  • Thats exactly what I was doing and tryied again to do, but in the point that you close OBM so the DGN file is inserted, my software gives files gets corrupted, like OBM cant find my DGN file path. Is there a way that I can manually insert my DGN file in my project file? like coping it and pasting in the project folder? Where usually the projects are saved ?

    thanks
