I am working on a steel bridge rating. I have sections transitioning near supports or cover plates terminating near supports. However, LEAP does not seem to be treating these members as non-prismatic.
According to this section in AASHTO LRFD, C_b should be set to 1 if these sections are non-prismatic:
However, LEAP appears to be calculating the C_b factor at these locations.
