I have an issue where I need to use a strut on a Pier from a LEAP Steel Model. When trying to add the strut in the Substructure Design portion, I am unable to click OK, however I do not see anywhere on the pier definition in the LEAP Steel model to add the strut. Does anyone know how this can be achieved?
Currently in LEAP Bridge Steel one cannot place a strut on a Pier. One cannot change the geometry of any components in substructure, that is the reason OK button is grayed out. I have added an enhancement (968474) so that when a bridge is modeled in OBM with a Strut it should interop to LBS.
Structs can be modeled and Substructure module in LEAP Bridge Concrete. If you working with OpenBridge Designer you can model the Pier with a Strut in LEAP Bridge Concrete and do the design.
