I have run into an issue placing piers and the cap not applying the elevation constraint parallel to deck and bottom parallel to top of cap. I have noticed that the problem seems to happen when I select the pier in the pier library. If the Red and Green orientation lines and Working Point are not appearing in the display window the cap does not adjust like it should. If the lines show up in the display window, then the cap does what it should. There seems to be no rhyme or reason why sometimes the lines show up in the library preview window and sometimes they don't. I need help with this issue, because once they are placed they do not respond even if you go edit level constraints to level and then back to parallel. Very frustrating!
