Hi,
I am working on the 80' prestressed concrete beam with a few debonded tendons. (Picture below)
I am trying to see how moment capacity changes with the change of debonded length of the tendons.
Below are the outputs for the provided moment with the debonded length of 1'.
When the debonded length is changed to 15' the provided moment increases (picture below), which is counterintuitive. I am trying to understand why the "moment provided" increases when the debonded length is increased.
i see that the Mu provided increased only at 0.3/0.7L , elsewhere the Mu Provided has remained the same or decreased.
It is difficult to figure why the program is behaving like this .
