I would like to analyze a multi column pier with two column types within the substructure module of LEAP Steel. There are three original concrete columns and two retrofit columns. I would like to specify different end conditions and material properties for the retrofit columns, is that possible when opening LEAP concrete within LEAP Steel? It seems setting different conditions for each column is possible within the seperate LEAP concrete program, but when opened as the substructure module within LEAP Steel it is not possible anymore.
In this case, is there anyway to export the loadings from leap steel and import them into a standalone LEAP Concrete Substructure file?
In LBS , Substructure module the program freezes the column Shape and size when any changes are made in the superstructure modeling.
Currently it is NOT possible to export the loadings from leap steel and import them into a standalone LEAP Concrete Substructure file.
I would suggest you generate the concerned loads in LBS-Substructure module.
Then create a separate substructure. model in Leap Bridge Concrete Substructure module and then input the loads manually.
Currently this is the only workaround solution i have .
Please check the communities link which explains how to regenerate imported Substructure loads.
