The bridge I am working on has 4 splice locations at each member. For some reason, after running an analysis, the first and last field splice do not appear to be updated and the program is still prompting me to run an analysis at those locations before I can design the splice. I've tried running FEM, Grillage, and Line Girder, but still get the same result. I even tried deleting out all the section breaks in the member definition and adding them back in to make sure there weren't any rounding errors, but the issue still occurred.
The only thing I have seen that is different about these 2 locations is they are also defined as a "mid-bracing point" within Point of Interest Locations dialog. I'm thinking this may be what is causing the issue during analysis as I tried adding a splice at another arbitrary mid-brace point and the same issue was happening there as well. I am not sure why this would be preventing the analysis to run and I haven't been able to find a way to un-assign a mid brace point.
Is there a valid reason I am not able to add splices at these points?

I tested this issue and i agree with your findings that the program is not designing the field splices assigned at MidBracing Point.
1) I tested this issue in Tutorial 2 .
2) I assigned the field Splices at MidBracing Points 30.7179 & 51.1964 ( Span 1 Member 1).
3) The program showed the status as "Run Analysis".
4) I ran the analysis and the program was still showing the status as "Run Analysis".
5) I moved the field Splices location to 32 and 55ft and the program changed the Status to "Outdated".
6) Then the Designed the filed splices successfully.
That's interesting. Do you know why the mid-brace points are generated or if there is a way to change the location of them? Ideally would like to keep the splices at the same spot if possible.
We are investigating this apparent issue and will forward this issue to the development team.
The workaround solution would be to offset the Field Splice little bit away from Mid Brace Point (May be few inches).
If the development team finds that this is an issue then a Defect will be filed so that this issue can be fixed in the future release.
