What equations/tables does LARS Bridge Connect Edition use to calculate the LLDF for a CSC beam? The LLDF generated by the program does not appear to be consistent with hand calculations utilizing the formulas/methods in the tables in section 4.6.2.2. Is there a way to generate the output of the longitudinal stiffness factor, Kg?
LARS Bridge calculates the LLDF as per AASHTO section 4.6.2.2
To see additional information relating to LLDF.
1) In the LLDF window , click on Recalculate All Factors.
2) Type in %temp% in Search and go the Temp folder and then click on LEAP_STEEL folder.
3) There is one more folder , click on that folder and you should be able to see a text file which shows additional information
related to LLDF.
Thanks for the answer, but I am asking about the previous 2D version of LARS Bridge, not the 3D version.
Sorry for the miscommunication. I shall look into the older version and will get back to you at the earliest.
LLDF in LARSV10 is calculated utilizing the formulas/methods in the tables in section 4.6.2.2.
There is a possibility that the program might be calculating the LLDF using Lever Rule.
