I want to create the hangers for an tied arch bridge. I use cross memeber to create them by connecting segment point on the arch and the tie.
PS. It seems that the forum doesn't allow uploading the media (picture, video) from my computer, I have to upload it to other web site, then use the URL.
When I run "Recalculate Modeller" in Modeler, it shows
E1206 Geometrical position of segment "Hanger in P1 1" not OK Check segment points and connection points the cross member is connected to.
When I run "Recalculate Analyzer" in Analyzer, it shows
ERROR: Element 3101 has zero resp. neg.length
But it shows correct location in the GUI
The arch and the tie are base segments for link segments, they are not regular segments
Hi Netsonic,
Both Warnings tell you that the element has a zero length.
In the screen visualization, the elements are in grey, so the images show not the element; but the eccentric connections, as also shown in the image below, in yellow.
From the images you sent, another possible correction would be to use the elements Cross-section plane with the option Horizontal in elevation.
You can find more info about a Tied Arch bridge at the link below:

Hi Beier
Thank you for the quick response.
1. Cross-section plane with the option Horizontal in elevation, has no effect
2. As for the "Connection Points have the same name", the two "CP01" belong to two differentsegments: Arch and Tie.
Will this be the issue?
3. gp9.tcl is zipped
