I have created labels that read stations/offsets from the model using the Place Label Tool. However, I have noticed that if the alignment is accidentally deleted or changed, the label station/offset change to zeros. Is there a way to reassociate the labels to read from the new alignment? Or even just to change which alignment it reads from?
Example screenshots below of how the label was reading vs. after the alignment file was deleted.
The generated labels should react to the existing alignment changes like restationing of the alignment or if the alignment moves or the alignment name is changed. If the alignment is deleted there is no way to re-associate the label to the new alignment.
