I know I can Displayset Set the chosen solids to achieve isolation, But I wonder if I can hide only the selected solids.

Hi Amya,
Are you referring to OBM elements like Abutments or Pier and you want to isolate the cap or footing, etc.? If yes, you could turn OFF the elements from the Explorer window. See image below where I have turned OFF the column display:

It's as you guessed, but the position accuracy of the model is very high, so the pier is directly modeled in OBM.
This does not appear in the Explorer window.
If it is not an OBM element, then hopefully you have each component in a unique level and you could turn the desired levels ON/OFF.

While I just wanted to make it easier to model, I already knew there was no way to hide the selected solids directly.
