RCPIER: Footing Design Disk Access

When performing the footing design with my data file on my C: drive I've noticed lots of disk activity and little cpu usage.  With this setup my particular footing takes 1.5 hours to complete the design.  If I place the data file on a seperate hard drive in the computer the design finishes in only 15 minutes.  That said, it would be nice if RC Pier would work with data files stored on removable media such as flash drives.  This would make it easy to perform the design on computers with only one hard drive and not wait for over an hour for the results.  I've also tried running the design on a network drive using a gigabit network and it takes even longer than running the design off my system drive.

Thanks, Al
