I created a cross section, the cross section is composed of several parts.
Some parts are created by using "regular" construction line type, such as "parallel translation", some parts are created by using "point by angle and distance" or "point by relative coordinates"
I can't copied the cross section if it contains parts that created by "point by angle and distance" or "point by relative coordinates", but if I deleted these parts and keeps parts that created by "regular" construction line type, such as "parallel translation", the cross section can be copied.

There are many types of construction lines, I haven't tested other type beside "point by angle and distance" or "point by relative coordinates".
I suspect that cross section created by "special" construction line type may cause the same problem.
