QUESTION: How is the v/s (volume to surface area) ratio computed and where is it used in the program?

ANSWER:

V/S is calculated as the cross-sectional area of the girder divided by the perimeter. For box beams, consider both the internal and external perimeters. This ratio is used exclusively for computing creep as part of positive restraining moments. This value is also used in the refined time dependent method of prestress loss computation
