QUESTION: Under Settings, Design parameters, for calculation of shear resistance, reduce web width Bv, for presence of duct. User needs to input the value in feet or percentage of the Bv in the box? Since most of the time user chooses unknown for duct type?

ANSWER:

The user needs to input fraction of duct diameter in the box. The program shows a default value of .25 if YES is selected for Duct Dia.

Reduce web width Bv, for Presence of Duct.
