QUESTION:  If one has to change the design user has to run the analysis every time, as once designed the design icon is greyed out. Why is that?

ANSWER:

When you add rebar to the model , it needs to be re-analyzed . This is current workflow in Conbox. If the user already knows what strands ,vertical shear or rebar, then the user can enter everything once in the Model Page and run the analysis .

But if the user is doing an iterative design, step by step then the user should re-analyze the structure. 

It is more refined and accurate , especially if you consider transformed section properties and time dependent creep and shrinkage etc..

Any Change to the model will impact the structural behavior. Automatic "Run Analysis" could slowdown the operation: hence currently it is left to the user to force "Run Analysis".
