In some cases, the users have custom (old) configurations in which the ProConcrete specific files are not found. In this case, OpenBridge Modeler will throw an alert informing the users that the data necessary to correctly run ProConcrete tools from within OpenBridge Modeler has not been found in the current configuration (workspace/workset).
The users can overcome this alert using one of the solutions presented below:
- the recommended solution is to update the custom configuration with the data necessary for running ProConcrete tools, by copying data from the default installation configuration to the custom one; also, the custom .cfg file need to be updated with the variables and settings from the ones provided in the default installation;
- another workflow (not recommended) is to rename the file psappl.cfg (found in C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBridge Modeler CONNECT Edition\OpenBridgeModeler\config\appl) to psappl.txt; in the same time, the following variables need to be commented so that OpenBridge Modeler will not load them (they are found in the files _Bridge Default Standards - Metric/Imperial.cfg);
If the user will go with the second workflow, the tools from the ProConcrete workflow from the OpenBridge Modeler ribbon will be disabled.
