3c. Composite Hollow Box


The 3c. option in the RM Bridge Enterprise Training Examples, 3c. Composite Hollow Box has the datasets and a description document for DIN, modeling, analysis and design of a three span bridge with a composite hollow box girder, with a steel tub girder and a concrete slab. The steel girder is erected in a first construction stage and applied the self-weight of the steel girder and wet concrete slab. Once the concrete has hardened composite action can be activated. It can be accessed at File\Examples\Training Examples by selecting 03.c DIN, as shown below.

Either only the Modeler part or the complete project with Modeler and Analyzer datasets can be uploaded, as shown below. When we call it, a Composite Hollow Box training includes some detailing modeling, load input, construction stages, traffic loads, post processing and fiber stress check is presented, as can be seen in the screenshot below.
