    Earthquake Load: Seismic events

    In RM Bridge Schedule \ Load Definition \ Earthquake Load users can define the input for all seismic events to be analyzed in the structure. The Loads are called by the specified number and defined by the reference Modal-File *.mod that includes the model natural modes, the Rule for superposition, and the event Duration (in seconds) as shown in the screenshot below.

    Additionally the directions and intensity can be defined for the Type of response spectrum graph within the options d for displacements, v for velocities, and a for accelerations. For each Global direction the Vector is defined (Vx,Vy,Vz) as well as the Damping factor as the ratio between actual and critical damping and the Name of the table characterizing the Var-Name for the respective response spectrum.
