Superposition Rules are used to combine the contributions of the individual natural modes in the final Seismic result including all. As shown in the image below, in the pull-down menu, the options are:
ABS - Absolute values
SRSS - Square Root of Sum of Squares
DSC - Double Sum Combination
CQC - Complete Quadratic Combination
CQCX - Complete Quadratic Combination variant without sign adjustment
Pro Tip: The variants may be used with or without RM mode superposition method. This technique provides concurrent result values in addition to the maximum and minimum values of the individual result components. For example: the maximum Longitudinal Moment with concurrent Normal forces or the minimum Normal force with the concurrent Transversal Moment. More information about it can be found at the link below.
