Initially, the migration from OpenBridge Modeler.to OpenBridge Designer usually allows users to use OpenBridge Modeler from OpenBridge Designer. So, in general, the new licenses are, for now on, for OpenBridge Designer and include OpenBridge Modeler inside it. That is why when using OpenBridge Modeler as a standalone product/application it could show up as a trial version and not licensed. In most cases, OpenBridge Modeler should run from OpenBridge Designer and not anymore as a standalone product.
Still, some users are experiencing installation issues with the new application, or with some components, or with older versions previously installed. They're reporting the following messages, or similar, to appear: "OpenBridge Modeler.exe cannot be found" or "LEAP Bridge Concrete application could not be found".
In general, they're installations issues for one user only. Ask your office colleagues about it: "Is this a user issue? Or is it a machine-specific issue? Is it happening on all machines?"
Once OpenBridge Designer is properly installed you should have it under C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBridge Designer CE 10.10, as shown in the screenshot below, with its own folder and also the included 4 applications:
So, check the installations directories for the *.exe files, verify the size of them, which should be about 8GB of data. If needed, the respective product shall be reinstalled, and this might correct the issue.
Note that the installation also creates the following folders in C:\ProgramData\Bentley:
When your project is still using an older version and that is not working it might be the case that that link is broken. Check the respective folder for completeness, as shown in the image below:
