    Getting VBA rejected error when opening a file in OpenBridge Modeler

    ISSUE:  Getting VBA rejected error when opening a file in OpenBridge Modeler with the following informational dialog:

    SOLUTION:  This happens when some DLLs are not properly registered during OBD/OBM install.

    Follow the steps shown below to resolve the issue:

    • Exit OBM (and OBD) if you have any files open
    • Open Command Prompt as an administrator:

    • In the Command Prompt navigate to “C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBridge Designer CE 10.10\OpenBridgeModeler” folder and then run OpenBridgeModeler.exe /regserver
    • If the issue is with standalone OpenBridge Modeler, then navigate to  “C:\Program Files\Bentley\OpenBridge Modeler CE 10.10\OpenBridgeModeler” folder and then run OpenBridgeModeler.exe /regserver

    • Open OBM again and try to open the file again.
