QUESTION: How the program is calculating the Regions in the Shear Connector Design report?
ANSWER:
In the Shear Connector output report this is how Region is defined for Strength Condition.
“Region” corresponds to Lp or Ln, so a single span bridge will have two regions, a two span bridge 4 regions, etc.
In the Tutorial 1 file there are 2 spans so the number of regions shown is 2x2 = 4 Regions.
