    Traffic Lanes

In RM Bridge traffic lanes are the geometric positions for the calculation of influence lines and surfaces. Lanes show us the relative location of the possible traffic load trains to their reference elements. Their definition is under Analyzer \ Schedule \ Load definition \ Traffic Lanes and for each Lane number, in the top table, several positions specifications, in the bottom table, as shown in the screenshot below, can be created with their respective commands:

    • Lane macros: a set of lane definitions automatically created from a simplified input
    • POS3D: Position of Lane (3D)
    • POSEL: Position of Lane (element) - LOCAL
    • POSEG: Position of Lane (element) - GLOBAL
    • POSERL: Position of Lane relative to Element
    • POSFG: Single Element Load (Force)
    • POSFRG: Single load relative to element

    Lane   Plane

Their relative position can be visualized in-plane, as in the top view above, or in 3D; it could be done in plots, or at the main input screen, as shown below.
