The Verification Example 12. Wind Buffeting in Time Domain has the objective to verify the loading type WIND on a very simple system: a column. The structural model is of only one element with two nodes and one cross-section in a rectangular shape with 0.5m and 1.0m, as shown below. The wind load application is at 20 degrees and using the Aero Classes Drag-Z and Lift-Z are created to define the respective drag and lift coefficients: Cd and the Cl.
Just for verification purposes, a full Wind on column Wind Load is defined, as shown below, and the results for a Mean Wind Load with Mean Drag and Mean Lift Loads are equal to those for a Centric Uniform Load.
