    Parts Types

    RM Bridge users are able to assign different Parts Types to create specific elements or references in the cross-sections. In the same cross-section, multiple and different definitions can be assigned. As users can assign any other Cross section to a Node in another Cross section this allows them to have the freedom of modeling whatever structure is needed due to the possibility of multilayer referencing. For each Part, in the Parts menu user has the following options:

    • Normal: the usual elements;
    • Cable: Tension-only elements;
    • Node: nodal points, elements node structural model references;
    • Slave: dependable references, FEM shell elements.
